About Me

I'm a mechanical engineer with a minor in computer science, graduated from Northeastern University in May 2026. My background spans R&D at consumer electronics, semiconductor equipment, and energy-storage startups — with three co-ops across SharkNinja, Entegris, and PolyJoule Inc.

I work across the full product-development cycle: concept, CAD, prototype, test, iterate. I'm also comfortable on the software side — at SharkNinja I built a Python-based tool that replaced qualitative gut-checks with a quantitative scoring system for heat distribution, which the team adopted as their standard R&D workflow.

Outside of work I'm building Aphrones — a convertible headphone system designed around hairstyles that traditional headphones can't accommodate. It's a real hardware problem I'm solving from scratch: mechanism design, human factors, and manufacturing feasibility.

Experience

SharkNinja

R&D Mechanical Engineering Co-op · Hair Care

Jan 2026 – Jun 2026Needham, MA
  • Iterated 10+ outlet-grille geometries in SolidWorks, applying DFM principles to optimize heat distribution toward product KPIs for a high-volume consumer haircare product.
  • Built a Python web app that quantitatively scores heat distribution across grille geometries, replacing vague qualitative comparisons — adopted as the team's standard R&D workflow.
  • Designed and validated a gentle drying attachment in CAD, conducting thermal and mechanical testing against product specifications.
  • Rapidly modeled device configuration changes to quantify performance impact for fast design iteration.

Entegris

R&D Mechanical Engineering Co-op · Semiconductor Equipment

Jun 2024 – Dec 2024Bedford, MA
  • Designed and 3D-printed 5+ prototype filter cores in SolidWorks to reduce differential pressure while maintaining teflon-membrane integrity under 30+ psi loads.
  • Fabricated a custom test fixture enabling parallel testing of 5+ core geometries, cutting validation time by a minimum of 40%.
  • Built a drop-test mechanism that identified key filter failure points, improving impact resistance.
  • Led weekly R&D syncs, presenting results and proposing next-gen core concepts adopted for the 2025 pilot design.

PolyJoule Inc.

Mechanical Engineering Co-op · MIT Startup, Energy Storage

Jan 2023 – May 2023Billerica, MA
  • Optimized polymer electrolyte formulations across 15+ design iterations, improving ionic conductivity and physical consistency.
  • Researched production-process improvements and established relationships with 4 manufacturing partners to support scale-up and data collection.
